A Parents Fears

By Elizabeth kaczocha

When our children are born, we have such high hopes.

As they grow we mould them with great hopes for their future.

When they are grown we look back and ask, did we do our best?

Will our children stay close or run far away?

Did we instill in them the right values? Will they show integrity and honor?

Will they help all that they can, and always lend a helping hand?

As a parent we doubt every choice we make.

How will our actions affect them, what will their future really hold.

And the most important question...

Did I do a good job?
