i found forever in another location

By Magdalena

he's a suave sparrow¬ featherless
an exposed backbone
and a baron bottle of deliverance
hanging from those broken fingers

cunning complexion all incomplete
with lines of misfortune and tears

i see right through that nomad soul
it's bleak in those dark corridors
of reflection and mayhem

i silenced his screams with
unwavering virtue

he should know
i no longer wonder through our graveyard
i do not mourn nor regret
there is no sorrow running through my heart
-that life from the past, sleeps deeply

i have moved away from all that was
it's like everything beyond being human
what i feel in the gravity that grounds me

more than i was or what he knows

Wonderful piece whose essence is captured in the lines "that life from the past, sleeps deeply." I can relate to this and, at times, when I look back at different periods of my life they seem like things someone else experienced. Ciao, Steve Scholar

"...what I feel in the gravity that grounds me" superbly stated Mags, and we all find it eventually; if we are fortunate. Cheers my friend! - Dan
