On the Edge of Forever

By Midnight Phoenix

This is just as perilous every day since I heard about you, about you
It is getting hard just to stay awake when I dream about you, dream about you

When will this moment be washed in sand
We can’t deny it’s a fantasy
It won’t be long before this moment’s end
It’s a severed tune, tune

When we’re thrown away we’ll fall together in the night
And watch these days go passing by
Where will we go when we fall together in the night
And watch these days go passing by

Watch as the silver drops land in vain into my solitude, for you
I’ll ask my heart for another change but I’ll be waiting for you, waiting for you

When will this moment be washed in sand
We can’t deny it’s a fantasy
It won’t be long before this moment’s end
It’s a severed tune, tune

When we’re thrown away we’ll fall together in the night
And watch these days go passing by
Where will we go when we fall together in the night
And watch these days go passing by

This is a great song.....I just wish I could hear the music ...though I almost do.....a melancholic , timeless sound.
