"a funeral in haiku"

By haunted

a graveyard for death
the silence of all the dead
deeper below you

walk across tombstones
be careful of your footing
reserved for a hole

marble epitaphs
a symbol to show a life
dearly departed

a funeral home
restoring a body new
a procession now

to lower the body
with roses and dirt of earth
a coffin is down

instant sod for you
to cover the stain you left
so beautiful now

the arrangements...
fresh flowers adore the dead
love the rose is red

a tree is planted
in memory of your death
its roots can feel you
