Apple in Decay (Dedicated to the fallen ones)

By molock

life presents a different set of
                                                          circumstances and challenges
                                                          for each one of us.
for some it becomes to much
                                                          for them to bear.
so this poem is dedicated to our
                                                          fallen brothers and sisters,
                                                            .....R.I.P.

Can't stop the bleedin',
no chance of healin'
...wasting away.

Can't fight the feelin',
not a good enough
reason.
don't want to stay
Can't stop thinkin'
about leavin' this
world today....

Can't sleep,
too sick to eat.
...aflicted,
feelin' weak.

Guess it's safe to
say,
an apple in decay.
if the fruit rusts on
the vine,
....don't pray for
rain.
Can't stop thinkin'
about leavin'
this world today...

It's the burden,
everything's so
uncertain,
...always the
same.
been hurtin',
time to draw the
curtin
on this disgrace...
Can't stop thinkin'
about leavin'
this world today

An apple a day; with a worm to speed decay. You have given me a new ear worm Mo; much as my Klingon captors did, to control me as we fall. Cheers my friend! - Dan
