Life below expectation
By midnights voice
I started small
I was born that way
Crawled into significance
long before I walked the line
The moment was clear as day
If only the fog hadn't set in
We all walked as ghosts
To our images made
Sake made marriage wine
I choked half the way down
The Buddhist monk
Gave me a disparaging frown
"What" I was asked ,
"are you going to be
when you grow up little boy"
. . . "Disappointed" . . .

I'd like to grow up to be happy I guess but so far it hasn't happened. I have still remained a a little girl. Though now I'm looking for my health. Oh the Buddhist Monk has no right to give anyone disparaging looks. If we don't expect much from life we won't get hurt I guess.

Oh I didn't know that but a buddhist monk wouldn't be getting married though.
