" it may take two or more... "

By Wr1tt3n V3ng3anc3

We are fragile lives
Entwining to become
One voice
We thread every word
To capture the undivided attention
Of the outside world

We are strangers that meet
For a cause
To affect and inspire those left invisible
Our resounding plea for them to draw back
The curtains of the moment and be known

We are the triumph when pleasure ends
Because we stay the soldier, we keep to the fight
We are what spectators condemn, we are what they mock
Yet we linger as afterthoughts at the back door of their minds
As they turn away…We are counterparts that have come together
And with the loudest thoughts we have woven “forever”

There is no need for our name, we are…
 Fragile lives that entwine
Strangers that meet
Triumph that soldiers beyond pleasure’s end
Counterparts that come together
Thoughts that have woven true meaning
The true meaning of “forever”

It can take any two
To show the outside world
That there is life in what or whom they discard
It can take any two
To show the outside world
That there is more to those that they count as less

it may take two or more...to disarm their reasons

love the way you throw out a simplistic thought and then proceed to show it is anything BUT simplistic! Well Done! ~worm~

This is magnificent. Your ending devours. I love the call back and overlap... That might be my fav style ever .... Because you talk about threads and you treat each line as its own... I'm watching these threads wind and weave and I love it. There is so much to love about this work.... I hope you submitted this to Skye's contest.... This is magnificent.
