Terrestrial

By Phalanx

Comfort.
The dreams in between waking and sleeping
I have crossed paths with.
Home.
Like none I've ever known,
Walks inside my flesh and takes candlelight like a storm.
Cover me, winter weather.

I don't mind the storms.
Just, don't leave me by myself.

We can be above freezing.

We can remember sunlight and hope
After the holocaust.

God damn it, I want it more than anything,
To remember dawn before some other asshole
Comes along and steel's it.

I want to believe there is something we can keep.
You are so very pallatable.
I'll keep you, if you keep me.

Please tell me there's home, here on earth.

We'll all be at home Phalanx, under the dome. No religion, no politics, just us and our phone, alone. Meanwhile get used to riding the bus, because only the rich will be able to afford the mandatory robot cars of the future. Be it ever so humble - Ramblin' Dan Cheers and Happy Holidays my friend!
