Cosmic Collision (Short)

By felicity0444

Once in a lifetime cosmic collision
Two pieces of debris that will never again meet this way
In parting they grieve
In loss
As the miles that separate them grow
Their brief caress so volatile
Yet completely and unfathomably perfect
Sorrow and loneliness blankets their souls
As their search for healing begins
A new star enters the sky

I really do love this, it hit close to home. Difficult, heartbreaking, sad. Well done.
