Cordially Arise

By SirEnders

Please, cordially arise with me
It has been a while you see.
I have been gone, but never far
No more wounds, only scars.
Words are still embedded in within
The pain is still beneath my skin.
Happy, yet never fully smile
Depression is my beguile.
Drive and still debate on trees
Life constantly brings me to my knees.
The sweet spots are my paradise and peace
Yet, Death is an endless masterpiece.
Life is so pointless and exhausting
Happiness is a sugar coated frosting.
Never fully living, nor dying
But, no more games or lying.
Be blunt, don't try and hint
I have done my stint.
My share is finished
Will diminished.
Stay true and you will see,
Life is like a cup of tea.
You sit and steep, all hot
Until you become cold and forgot.
Embrace Death when it is time for you to go
You'll see him in Black in the white, white snow.
