"Dinosaurs With Short Arms cannot Pick Flowers"

Greenness of grass, flexed back, and flourished
Ripened with stamens orange anthers
Embrace the morning dew
Emerge into the open view
Nestled in a bed of daisies
Native to mother's rich soil
Enriching the field of vibrant flowers
"Spring green," you are! and...
Sweet is your essential aroma

..

...Oh, just for the record this write has 'Absolutely' NOTHING - to do with Dinosaurs...:)

Your title made me laugh, and I have to say that I'm really disappointed to find out that this poem contained no dinosaurs: However, your poem is amazing and makes up for the trickery on your part. I think you owe it to all of us to deliver another poem containing these "Dinosaurs With Short Arms" thank you for the morning laugh, and as always (10!).

Something in the air for sure TG, and your title cracked me up since the short arms were a characteristic of the carnivores :) Well, maybe Barney was a flower child... I thought thses might be flowers on a grave and was then reminded of another DP poem about somebody buried in the vegetable patch; providing tomatoes for a ham sandwich! Now I'm rambling - adieu and cheers! - Dan

I was kinda sad to find that this had nothing to do with Dino's. I love them 'specially Rex's. although, the imagery is gorgeous! fun fact: there's a place near where I live who has Dinos at the end of their driveway for every driver to see. they dress them up for every season/holiday. it's quite adorable! btw, I love this piece and would bookmark if I could.

The imagey was beautiful. But false advertising lead me to sad faces. Despite my view of snow outside at the moment, this piece warmed me up alittle.
