Target Practice

By mikeygreenleaf

If loving you were simple
I could die a grateful death
Hearing that you loved me
Even underneath your breath
More often than I rather you
Will never see what gives
My heart this brutal beating
But my nature to forgive
Reminds me you are lucky
That I love you all the same
You can keep on running while
My heart improves it's aim.
