i started drifting back into my words
thinking my sanctuary was safe
where finally you weren't my muse
you came flying in on the wind
with wishes and dreams
aims for forgiveness and acceptence
filled with apologies and regret
belief in substance and love
i try not to egostroke your words
i try to place everyone else in them instead of me
i shouldn't be so self absorbed..
but still i fit so well in their embrace
i dare to hope
for the unrestrained, simple
and plain truth
unforgotten memories, actions and words
i remember your recording:
"ti amo meu amor, forever and always
i'll be waiting for you"

Beautifully rendered piece. We take all our loves and lovers with us to our grave but the question is always can you move on and away from the ones that turn bad and try to tempt us back as though they’ve changed for the better..Here’s to strength and moving on.
