jardin de l'amour

By BlackVelvet Rose

come my love, let us shed our woes
and leave this land of mortal foes.
we will travel far on paths un-tread
through the glorious jungle by no mortal led.

foraging through the canopy, into a garden of emerald
under new-born stars full of passion unbridled.
and it is here my love, we can be as one
basking in the moon-lights silvery cauldron.

i will fashion you in leaves of gold
and ivy trailing as a crown for you to behold.
such grandeur you will faithfully wear
as we exchange our celestial vows without a care.

in this garden of emerald, we will love,
rain scented of jasmine and falling foxglove.
under a breathing azure sky
it is here my love, we will die.

Le sigh...and it ends as it began. You know all the trouble started when we climbed down out of those trees. Cheers VR and soo good to see you again! - Dan

This felt like a daydream, the gentle quiet of your flowing words was just... beautiful. This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing this.
