Mutiny

By mikeygreenleaf

Along the coast of my dismay
The pieces of my mirrors lay
Strewn about with no regard
Imperious indignant shards
Broken, still reflect to me
A certain shade of scrutiny
Enamored with my confidence
At bailing on my common sense
My modesty would let it be
To double cross my dignity
