On The Rings Of Saturn
By carlosjackal
She acts like
this is her last night
in this city.
She doesn't drive
but she'll be
your great lover.
A universe
of electric possibilities.
The magic and beauty
of gold and green
circuit board patterns
sending signals
to loved ones
on the rings
of Saturn.
She sits
and blurs her sight
until into vision
her dream wife appears.
Her smile is a gift.
Someone special
who takes her mind
and makes it
her treasure.
Someone
who makes her
feel like
home.

I don't know what to write about this one. I like it, and in such a short time you weave such a splendid character! Beautiful imagery as always.

Saturn's rings hold the fascination of many people, and the use of them in this poem lends it a celestial beauty that really completed it nicely. Once again, another good choice for Poem Of The Day! Queen Reb:).

My heart began to flutter upon reading, "The magic and beauty of gold and green circuit board patterns sending signals to loved ones on the rings of Saturn." Such a gorgeous write. I will definitely have to come back to this one. -bows
