My Suitor, Death

By my soul whispers

Death calls to me
Seductively, beguilingly
Sweet vows of escape, together
The allure of his cold embrace

A lover's plea
Enticed by his assurances
Despair's end within my grasp
His voice a soft, constant rustle in my mind

Shall it be the lure of his siren song
Or heed the dire warnings of the Christ mongers
Is damnation to be my fate
Or the bliss of eternal peace

Powerful and gripping for a first piece posted. Showed a clear charm with diction and existentialism; write on.
