goodbye

By Cant walk away

I didn't know, it would all be like the shadow of night. Endless tentacles of the darkest matter known to any. Like ink in the sea. It caresses every curve of the light you possess. Almost lovingly yet strangling. Begging for one opening, one easy way to take you down.
I am a fool.
thinking this darkness would cease. Silence, another failed attempt at a life I was never built to understand. How in these binds could I ever even dream to express anything on a human level.. This depth prevents that.
This poison...

I take a sip and kiss the sky.
To tell all the stars goodbye.
For tomorrow I may never rise.
I'm falling away, I'll never die.
A shooting star across the sky.
Don't ask me why
I'd rather not lie.

And I shall close my eyes.
To the nothing, the thing. Close it away as it swells infecting you all..

Nevermore, forevermore.
