How it is.

By Phalanx

It's simple.
They work against you.
Trust isn't enough.
They need more.
We kill each other in a smile and
Whence you gave, it ammounts to nothing
Because they all turn.
I'm fine with goodbyes and no sub text but,
It's so much worse when
They seek to ruin because they think
They're doing the world a favor.
When they see you in a pale and desperate light,
There is no respect nor ackowledgement of life.
It's just easier when they believe you don't exist.
They get mad because you're still searching and so
They beat you to death because you're tired.
One day you'll realize that even though,
You stalled me out and left me to smolder,
I won't use you against you.
Why would I need to lie or raise a fist?
I just got lost and trusted the wrong people.
