Highlander

By Phalanx

Yes,
To answer your question.
We wake up with ash for threads.
Your eyes want to believe, while you curl up in fear
As if what you're seeing isn't real.
It is.

I know from the way your eyes bleed
That you see me.
You thought I died, I just slept for a spell.

What are we to do with ourselves?

We must merge to know who must survive.

In killing ourselves, we fight our own personal
Fragmented extinction.
