Ferocity

By mikeygreenleaf

The hopeless romantic gives all to his friend
Loving her fiercely even to his end
Feeling intensely is all that he knows
The scent of ferocity clings to his nose
Protecting his prize loyalty like a bear
To diminsih the volume of humilitous air
Is the only way this beastly creature does show
The depth of its passion captured in loves throw
Even a fool knows when to play dead
Caught treading the ground of another man's bed
No fairness in reason for hunting him down
No code to the feral will ever be found
A swift righteous anger will go for the throat
Then proudly bathe in blood to polish his coat

It does feel a little stunted, a bit of a mouthful at times. Taken in context, we have seen you bare your fangs! The high road, the path most travel? Should never have expected: no code for the feral. =p Cheers, mate.
