Dripping Stops The Silence

By malevolencefixation

Silence is the loudest noise
I think I'll ever hear
The emptiness is deafening
Slicing through my ears
Slicing isn't always bad
Like into flesh, it rips
Then the blood streams beautifully
Drip drip, drip drip, drip, drip.
Drip
Crimson falls on white
Drip drip
Everything falls that night
Drip drip
I feel myself slowly fading out
Drip
The silence no longer seems to shout
Drip
And then, I'm gone

  • A former member wrote: I agree with the comment before mine. This is intense, and dark, The silence I can taste, within this poem. The depression is very deep. Keep writing. This poem was very good.

  • A former member wrote: wow, this is really intense. adding the dripping noises at least the way I imagined it was a fantastic touch, simple, but it set quite the ambiance
