The Furies (Mikey lost it today)

By mikeygreenleaf

Laught at the sky
Cry to the ground
The measure of mind
Death of profound
Disillusioned
                Distorted
Out of focus, the lense
Shudders and strains
To make sense of no end
Pushing and pulling
Gnashing of teeth
Who are you fooling?
To bed with your grief!
The furies they watch me
Just out of sight
Drooling as darkness
Strangles my light
Whispering softly
Every way I could end
The feelings that vioently
Rage through my head
Oppression, possession
They pull on my strings
Mouth the words to the dirge
They play just for me
I know how to show them
I'm sick of this game
Rest my peace in the chamber
Bid farewell with a BANG!

Sanity or insanity... that is the question. What drives some mad becomes a new found beginning for others. I see the best of both worlds in this because you don't have to be completely mad to endure such misery before the big bang. I like this piece because it drew-out a mixture of emotions. Your mind is very sharp and entertaining. Scholar
