Waxpaper

By Phalanx

Wheremongers search for gods they don't know.
I just want someone to talk to.
I am not defined by conjunction.
Laugh me into sleep and I'll come back with a prayer.
Lesson learned with fewer than words.
There's something of the fact that you got some
Pain on your mind.
I can't fix much but,
I'm good at finding problems.
The "wish you coulds," are a long list and
You stay on point with hope
While the bullets trace you upright.
Funny, what keeps you standing,
What keeps me standing.
I like time when it tells me stories.
Trails that fade to wander
Make love to the mind.
God, I love your silhouette.
