pangelic

By sIo

what falls lay foreign
stained green by taste
withered-shred to ash
no dust to baste-to moisten
such as to smoke

so we'll shimmer dry
water whirling fingertips
touching all the chattered lips
while knowing at the end
of this
we've sculpted out an
angels kiss

aware and glowing I'll embrace the storm to tie-tailed snowing-pour one more
dear dove we're never going
frigid stares
and invitations, lawless brush-a grazed caress
you'd think they're harmless
i digress sweet Catalina
keep your hands behind your dress   they wilt with boundaries
trumped every test, you'll feel cornered

stay sharp and press
no courtesy -for indecency-
...Catalina

(in that dress)

within season I'll lend a shoulder
just keep in mind who's there
to hold her-

bless her heart, they'll say

in rumor
