The Ominous Meeting

By saltyman65

 I remember the first time we met, behind the wall down the Neck;
 too much fumbling and chaffing to call it a date.
 The second time like a bulldog humping my leg.
 The third time I slank and hid but he cornered me late at the end of the line,
 Nowhere to go but out to sea.
 Maybe it was just pity or not wanting to disappoint that made me cave in.
 That was the beginning of a very long end.

    Good stuff. I enjoyed the expression of awkwardness on a first date. Thank you for sharing. :)
