Hourglass

By infinitebeing

reflective consiousness
blood shot eyes
painfully straining
through a lense of regret

... keepsake memories
fading through time
soluble moments
raindrops as fast as they fall

image shifted
traveling distances
fast lane bound
every face with a warning labled fake

lucid dream
story ends
100 years in 2 hours
poured from an hourglass devoured by the sands of time.
