the end cares not

i had to die for awhile
before i could live at all

i witnessed the end of it
before starting down the hall

during my vacation
in oblivion
i was given the choice to stay
having earned my final rest
or return to when i left
and seek a new way
to pass the test.

my decision is obvious
as i am here today
though maybe not the brightest
but who am i to say

i simply wish to share a wisdom

live in your own way
and for your own reason
for the end cares not how you got there
only that you stay
