Persephone's Pomegranate

By BlackVelvet Rose

Persephone's Pomegranate

with surreal pictures
surrounding me

frost bitten dreams
on a crystal clear night

darkness has come to
embrace and cover me

sheltering me in moonlight
with stars twinkling white

touching and caressing
in endless beauty

such a pureness comes
with the love frozen in ice

the coldness has crept in
chilling my reckless pursuit

snowflakes shiver with delight
floating alone on this winter night

crisp air sharpens my mind
with frozen kisses keeping me alive

with summer asleep
autumns sight awakened

guiding winter back to glory
in this endless beauty
