Atlas, Dismembered
By Alanarchy
She's holding it together with
heartstrings
So picture albums would appear
obviously, in-canter
where but a glance, an eye would catch
and she dropped eggshells from her pockets
where ever she went. But she's holding it together.
A fire that then consumed the phoenix
whole
Conversations, wherein I dare not speak
Melodic carnage, when strings snap one
by silver one
She cries eggshells in her sleep
Weaving, saturreal seams in saturnia
Rings
...always
to Atlas, dismembered
Atlas
Bleeding on the shards of a world.
I don’t know who trashed that old album, last night
when I was sleeping.
But I brushed it off and put it
back on the shelf where it came from.

I'm so happy this is POTD because who knows if I would have found this otherwise. This is so visual, heartbreaking, and lovely. And the whole Atlas reference was beautifully done. I will stop now before I drown you in adjectives attempting to describe how much I love this.
