- C'est la vie (Live and let die) -

By Rebel tiGer King

There she was, radiating hate in the nicest of ways
Stretching her shadows deeper into my eye sockets,
Clawing out my insecure delusions
Changing the rights and crushing souls of men
We were weak men

No match for her victim stance
It was always just a game
I was just too stupid to see
I became the villain in her wicked fairy tale
Meta morphing truths at her convenience

Twilight zone scabs and lost days
Inked the same behind the necks of serpents
And so It began at the end where it should've stayed
Furthest of acquaintances and passers by
Like a wasp to the honey bee

I'll bury the past

She'll wallow in it
Swimming in her ocean of Prozac and lithium
Cinderella pills and empty glass slipper bottles
One size too small

.....Guess you've won.
