Wind Tossed

Wind Tossed
by the waves of joy bouyed up
ever present absence getting louder
riding the waves of joy and pain
still here
.
soul deep joy
found in little one's eyes
saving my soul each time i hold her in my arms
fighting the wall of shadows
that drag down
.
some times
all you need
is a daughter
to keep you whole
