- Cigarettes and Polka Dots -

By Rebel tiGer King

With a cigarette in her lips
She starts the dance
Freezing time and space
Translating her words

Electric lightning

She inhales so deep
As to shake the gravity of my romanticism
And sexual intentions
She breathes

Exhales her self esteem
Showing my irrelevance
A meaningless existance
Like the crow to a young Edgar

But her secret is not discreet
Her red lipstick sleeps with many
The lines on her face
Like a map of the world

She's just an ink stain
On a polka dot sun dress in July

I guess I'll be her bleach.

...so much experience in the living she's done, that caused the stains & the smeared lipstick...
