dreaming of the ocean

By BetaWolfinVA

Wave Dancer
.
Finding the wind
Is where i'd rather be
dancing on the waves
oh so far from here
.
making the moonlight home
on some darkling sea
as i let the wind
find a home in me
.
hear the skirling of the wind
in the open sails
feel the wood cutting through the waves
find your own way home...
.
.
.
for i have found mine.
.
.
.
...maybe some day

I agree the majority of us would rather be afloat upon a roaming sea... if so i would stay there indeffinately... Scholar

This certainly felt as a lucid dream. Calm in spite of vivid intensities. This reminded me of staring deeping into a painting until you slip into it. Of course, I have an affinity for ships and oceans.

as i woke up that night, i had an image of looking down the starboard (right) side of a white cutter, near the bow... odd that i had never been aboard one... Scholar
