Towards a Distant Dream

By BetaWolfinVA

A work inspired by How to Write a Broken Heart

time tears at us,
to go back is what
we yearn for...
.
but sometimes,
only some times
is what weve gained
worth all that we've lost
.
we spend
each day in toil
working
.
towards a distant dream

Short, yet meaningful... Everyone wishes they could go back. Re-write certain aspects of their lives. But, we only live once, and I say we should learn to live with no regrets. You can always turn things around without looking back. Well written xoxo

So utterly, breathtakingly true! I feel this piece represents us as people so well, why do we insist on trapping ourselves within this inextricable snare? ... Love this piece!
