When one comes at contretemps with a cannon

By BetaWolfinVA

When one comes at
contretemps with a cannon
one should expect
to come out on the loosing side
-
The three inch cannon sits
in the middle of the traffic circle
unmoved by my encounter with it
-
i cannot say the same
-
< === --- === --- === >
-
when one is operating a tractor blower,
in an ever closing circle in a traffic circle
one should not operate by open field rules
especially when one has blown
around the cannon many times
-
had i been leaning towards the side,
as i was seconds before
i would have been the grape
between the cannon and the roll bars
-
when operating heavy equipment
-
eyes front
!!!
-
< === --- === --- === >
-
my verbal acuity
sometimes lacks lucidity
and bright lights
oft make me flinch
-
some times
i cannea hear right
or maybe its just that
my wife mumbles
and treats me with contempt
when i ask her to
repeat yet again
-
my affinity for the
written word is
as yet
unhurt
but ordering from a menu is only fun
for certain constrained values of fun
-
if i am incohearent in chat,
its that damnable touch pad
catching my thumb
as i fail in another attempt
to touch type
making the end of the sentance
occour in the middle
-
department of redundancy department
-
will post corrected version shortly
