+My Prison, My Disguise+

By ExaCute

The darkness it lore's me
Whispering words of sweet nothings in my ear
Yet i know there is no good in its absents of light
But yet i fall
letting its jaws devour me hole
taking away my sanity
though it holds me close
making me feel safe and at home
It feeds itself on my misery and pain
leaving me feeling empty
with a heart of nothing more then coal
to fuel this hatred that now burns in side
as i come to realize
all these dreaded lies
But why?

i hear those speak around me
But their words all come to me as untrue
Has this darkness casted its shadow on to you?
Covering your face with filthy lies
Or am i becoming paranoid
And looking to the world with closed eyes?
as life seems to go on the more i seem to despise
The moments of life that seem to pass me by

Why had i let my self fall?
There is never love in this hatred
and madness
but yet i feel home
Safe away from the truth
i originally sought out to find
Darkness became my
prison
my disguise
