The Learning Letter

By knightmirror

do you know
how much i feel alive
despite your absence, i'm on the fence, looking for hints
to show me
how far off the path i've strayed
yelling out i need my passion to feed on the emotions i bleed

staining the sky with convincing chords
disguised as clouds
polishing promising positive swords
defending silent sounds

able to deafen the doubt within
then begin again

do i show
signs of a healing hive
stinging sequence, bruising against, what your life meant
to my destiny
anyone can choose to invade
without a fear of greed overtaking sleep as i take this leap

my words
are one of the only things that can prove
i existed
and whether or not i was graced with a gift

choosing to share my soul
bare down
to my

wings
bones

on a level
first pointed out
by you
