Sacrifices
By deathndismay
The taste of salt, so
bitter sweet, as tears fall down my face.
I waste by fault, for my
retreat, is hiding from this place.
This mask I wear, which hides
the scars, this life has duely branded.
This task I fear, too much to
bare, has left me ever stranded.
I am alone, I am abandoned, left
to my devices.
By my own hand, I suffocate, I fall for sacrifices.
