Rattle Rattle Thump

Rattle Rattle Thump
Missera underfoot comes
Thumping Down the stairs
-
Long haired Chihuahua
Beloved of many saddened
By the end that came
-
One night as she slept
By the electric heater
And ne'er woke again
-
She rests under Trees,
no more circling the table
at night without sleep
-
That is left for us
Who are left behind missing
Rattle rattle thump

we always knew when she was coming down the stairs, her collar rattled as she tensed for the leap to the next stair...and the thum as she landed... each of 12 steps got this musical accompnyment Scholar
