~. dúthracht .~
By NikesRain
she waits
moonlight glinting
steel plate reflecting silence
it's always in the quietest
hours
she finds sleep elusive
listening for
those words
her mount blows thoughts
chilled into
the night air
its visible sighing set to rise
pawing
the ground
digging for
those words
no nightingale song
in the depths of solicitude
the destrier shifts
a creak of leather
the scrape of blade
cutting
the darkess
waiting for
those words
i need
you
she charges
across the night
thundering down
upon his demons
sword
glistening
unbound resolution
at his side
because of
those words

I love the title of this and the air of mysticism. I have an image in my mind of some heroine of lore who would move mountains for her lover. Beautifully scribed.
