A Life Sentence (no crime committed)

By ColorMeToxic

Sometimes I feel
like a bird in a cage.

Too sad to sing.
Personality, beige.

Unable to fly,
with wings that are clipped.

My chance for freedom,
extremely slim.

Slowly but surely,
With each passing day...

The hope for my future,
passes away.

BIrd in a cage. Many feel exactly like that. It's an horrible feeling. I guess depression can be seen as that feeling. Hope you manage to cope with that and find happiness
