slow-motion.strain

By sIo

Simply infuriating that I don't know
I'm fairly certain of this emotion
That I could ring around the nosey
And discard everything else

I couldn't tell you the time

I only know the taste
I couldn't imagine the place
But I know the feeling and I'm cold
Shaking like it's never happened before

I'm alone with someone next to me
I can feel him but my skin is crawling
Like I can't

With what do I detest
With whim do I instigate
I can't remember the foul

But I always sink in this position
Nothing takes more time than
This

Tell me no and I'll retract

It's gone now so I'll refrain.

If you are describing some altered state, then you might like to read my "First Fruit Falling From the Tree" that I re-posted the other day. THis was quite the thoughtful piece and thanks.
