********

food-
i love it so much
and i want to eat a whole bunch
and not worry about
little things like
carbs or
fat...

so
i buy a couple snacks
and a couple chocolate packs
not bothering with labels
i just eat them
just like
that

then
i start to feel a twinge
and my heart begins to cringe
so i run to my cabinet
and i grab my
little
pill

and
i wash it down with water
guess i am my mother's daughter
i used to watch her do it
and i bet she
does it
still

and
the laxative starts working
and i find that i am lurking
by my bathroom; but i have
to cause i'm slavish
to this
need

yes
i'm ashamed of my desire
and guilty to be a liar
and i'll stop as soon
as i'm thin; then
i'll be
freed...
