& love limps from your eyes .

By Corinthian

Wishes
drop through the air ...

Carelessly
dressed with snow-lit eyes

hanging slender

strings and blue stars

in your weak candle light

*I dont know ,

I just dont know .. what this feeling is

I hope that we are okay*

...

...*I can

:not sleep now*

so on my sheet I wrote this_

....

This is the slo.west kiss

Laced boots and

shallow coat

Clinging together

tight with ribbons

and foreshadowing light

Im very fond of your

un.innocent

caress

blue rain curtains

shimmering your

stone.

indigo .

manger

and
tears they will

live forever on my fingertips  ..

as they shiver from

raven.crowned

white-gold eyes....

*trembling

tinta lips* on  shining hips ....

falling...

...

......

chimes of star

and

we  were  like

bats with silent steps

on lavender mud

and burgundy clover

behind this undissolved

red lion sun

And....

I think I will keep

on dreaming until I find a reason to wake up*

I loved the descriptive imagery in this. Color gets thrown around alot in poetry to ignite the senses but you knew exactly how you wanted the image to blossom.

I loved the way these words played out, such a unique angle to refresh the multitude of poems that crawl with a simailar subject. Really enjoyed this; different.

From the first line I was captivated, and feeling this poem so much right now. speak softly, tread lightly or the fragile balance will shatter

  • A former member wrote: i've missed your words corinthian, the way you play with colors in your attempt to convey. no one does it quite like you do. "this is the slowest kiss, laced boots and shallow coat" something about these lines grabbed me. just an interesting way to capture a moment as contrasted with your usual cosmic imagery.

I hate to wake up from a good dream. For a while I was writing down what I could remember - but still didn't make much sense. Don't be a stranger, thanks.
