a deal with the devil
a man found me when i was all alone
at roads that cross far away from home
he stood there tall, all dressed in black
with a devilish grin and eyes to match
"a deal for you" is what he said
with the hollowest eyes, glowing red
alone i was when he spoke to me
with a single promise to set me free
what he offered to me is "yet to come"
but "an oath in blood cant be undone"
paralized by the hiss he had in his speech
tempted by lessons he had to teach
a chill down my spine is all i had left
with a weighing burden crushing my chest
"all the pain you feel today,
sign right here to wash it away"
"ill make you rich and give you wealth
but no take-backs once deals are dealt"
tempted i was to free this pain
empty my thoughts and release my brain
enchanted feelings surrounded me
blissful euphoria like ecstasy
i felt the feeling and could not resist
so i sign away and he was gone in the midst.
in this life i will not grow old
but in one brief moment i sold my soul.
