His Stone.

By ColorMeToxic

His Stone.

For twenty-two years
and twenty one days
a man has been buried
with no stone for his grave.

No sentiments there,
just a thin metal plate.
With his  first name,
last name, birth and death date.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
After twenty-two years,
and twenty-one days,
this man will finally have,
a stone for his grave.
Paying  tribute, to a man
who so deserves this, and,
I can finally stop worrying
That he feels forgotten.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

He never was.

A Friend proved to me today, that I CANNOT give up on society.
Good People do still exist. Lucky am I, to know Him.
I feel honored. Blessed even. Thank you.

    The deceased indeed deserve proper respects. I was devastated when I heard that my mother's grave was defaced. Thankfully though, there are generous people tending to that cemetery. I'm glad that you found a faint glimmer in society, write onward. Scholar

    I'm so sorry that happened to your Mother's grave. Some people do not deserve to live among the civilized. Scholar
