Prey For The Hunter

By Malcholm Dark

The lioness hunts in the streets tonight
Searching the shadows, evading the light.

Her cub was slaughtered upon the street
The reasons unclear, answers incomplete.

It was seven against one--some say drugs were involved
She carries two Glock seventeens--she now has evolved.

Once a good mother with an altruistic sense
Now malevolent, she calls herself intense.

The time will come when seven must pay
And when it does she will have her day.

Oh the havoc she shall wreak
Upon these men she doth seek.

Her soul has fallen in deep descent
It's time to make the sinners repent.

As she enters the room, the guilty abound
She redecorates walls, gunning them down.

Only six were killed, one still remains
The hunt goes on, she never complains.

The lioness hunts in the streets tonight
Searching the shadows, evading the light.

The righteous will rise and evil shall fall
And I live in fear, awaiting her call.

The lives of the wicked shall fear the night, so long as vengeance stalks behind them. Had a Kill Bill vibe to it. A dangerous huntress prowling the shadows, waiting, lurking. Write on my friend. Scholar
