Awaken History

By Frater Synth

Hidden beneath the natural beauty,

Lays the dark truth,

Lurking in the shadows of the mountains,

Is the evil of a nation,

Below the mud and sand,

The past sleeps,

A brother and sister digging in the sand,

Quickly lost in brutality of the past,

As history replays in their hands,

Raped of their innocence,

As life is squeezed from their veins,

Taken from the world as history awakens,

A cloud of smoke and fire sucking oxygen from the air,

Death swooping in to carry them away.
