Sweet Home Alabama

By Rebel tiGer King

I once met a girl in a dress
From another place and time
She walked my way roadside
Her eyes held me first
A beautiful smile and gentle touch
I finished my cigarette and walked with feeling
Like i knew her from before
Like i loved her once already
She tuned me up six strings
Sweet home alabama
And i was off to make a melody
One i hoped she loved.
Just like before
I knew her touch when we made love
Just like before
She tasted sweeter this time
And i made that tune just like she liked
Sweet home alabama
But this time...
This time i wasnt enough.
She said she loved me and she cried
And the pretty girl in the dress
walked right on through taking my melody and strings
wiht her back to sweet home wherever it was.
I met a girl in a dress once
She was great.
